Gentle reminder New Moon Women Circle starts in less than 12 hours- Gather with us

This month, to celebrate this next chapter, I’m gifting a buy 1 get 1, so if you sign up, you can bring a friend for free! (Just send me an email or DM with your friend’s email address after you sign up)- if you are in inner bloom or empowered evolution- no purchase necessary- just send me a dm or email with your friend’s email.

Ok, one last adminy thing, before you dive into the juicy goodness of this letter, I’m moving towards retiring this Substack from its original intention. It will still exist, but it will mostly be behind a paywall, with the occasional free posts for my long-time readers. This is your chance to invest in your journey with me, as I embark on sharing the treasure trove of creations I’ve been waiting to birth over the last few years.

Including access to my moon circles- it will soon become free for all paid subscribers of my newsletter and for founding members, you will get an additional special treat.

As I begin to pour more of myself into caring for the collective, this is an invitation for you to support me on this journey. Don’t worry, I will always have free and magical resources throughout, but I’m stepping up in terms of what I’m birthing and I’m taking a leap of faith and I’m inviting you to take this leap with me.

This week’s Podcast episode just went live with Nicola Unite, my former colleague, boss, and longtime friend, a powerful breathwork facilitator and psychotherapist

Dear Gentle Being,

I am one of those people that has deep gratitude for everything. The act of living no matter how big or small feels like a gift. Each brush from the wind on my cheek. Each butterfly passing by feels like it is just for me to remember the beauty of transformation and not attaching to what I think is permanent, because truly nothing is. Every time I see light dancing off of water onto a structure, I believe it’s the ancestors reminding me that I am not alone. Rarely is there a moment where I can’t find the woven golden thread of hope or gratitude.

But this weekend felt like something more viscerally vibrant than I’ve felt in a long time. Perhaps it’s because the weight of working has lifted? Perhaps it’s because some of my closest friends on the island gathered to celebrate and honor me and this new chapter? Perhaps it’s because my hubbae was in such joy getting to share the lives we live abroad with his older brother for the first time. Perhaps it’s because on this one particular morning I sat with my cards and journal to go deep within I was gifted with this beautiful view as soon as I looked up from finishing my journaling session.

A sign from God that this path I’ve chosen is a beautiful one. A sign from God that community truly is medicine.

We went up to Candidasa a little coastal town in East Bali. I’ve never been here before, but I’ve heard for almost a decade about its beauty and quiet charm. let me just tell you, it didn’t disappoint. We definitely wished we had stayed a few extra days in this little oasis.

The best quote from the weekend was “Take your time rushing”. A weekend full of belly laughs, games, oracle card pulls, tears, revelations, acceptance of being as we are, and celebration for who we are becoming. I often talk about our relationship to time. How it isn’t real in the way the clock moves us, but we have become so conditioned by it for the necessity of survival, so for a lot of us, it is very real. But even in our tightly organized lives, we can always find ways to soften our relationship to time. Even if just by giving yourself permission to be a few minutes late, or inviting flow for when people show up to a function at your house? When we do have control over time, how can we release it and let is be easeful. I had a few friends over the weekend, worried about time, and as often as I could, I stated the quote lovingly- “take your time rushing”. We were in charge of our schedule, and nothing was life or death that we couldn’t move to start later or accommodate for those that needed to join later. But it still can feel crunchy to those of us who live less structured lives. It is an ever-going process to decolonize our relationship to concepts and ways of beings, but as we continue to march towards an unpredictable world, it’s important that we decondition and decolonize our mindsets, so we aren’t getting swept up into oppressing ourselves or those around us because of the fear that uncertainty can birth.

Take a moment and sit with this, see if even prolonging your morning coffee time with yourself can feel safe. By 5 min? Or maybe you’re on your way to meet someone, but you really need 10 extra minutes to transition and have a moment on your own before you can feel resources being there for them… is it safe for you to let them know you’ll be there in 10 minutes, not because you are rushing and just are late, but because you’re softening your relationship with time and they will understand, just like they would if you were actually running late.

Now, don’t let this be why you get canceled by your one friend who thinks you are notoriously late… 🤣maybe save it for another moment where you can play with time. Preempt the anxiety that comes from needing an extension and ask for one before you need it? Practice giving yourself grace and watch how time around you softens in return.
